Project Assistant Mobbar LGA.

Introduction

Borno State continues to experience a high burden of malnutrition, disease outbreaks, and limited access to basic health and WASH services due to prolonged insecurity, displacement, and poor infrastructure. In Damasak (Mobbar), Magumeri, MMC, Jere and Konduga LGAs, vulnerable populations—especially children under five, pregnant and lactating women (PLWs)—face increased risks of acute malnutrition, poor infant feeding practices, and waterborne diseases such as cholera.

FRAD Foundation is implementing an integrated life-saving Nutrition and WASH response project targeting vulnerable populations in Borno State, particularly in Mobbar LGA (Damasak). The project aims to reduce morbidity and mortality associated with malnutrition and poor WASH practices through community-based interventions.

To ensure effective implementation and field-level coordination, FRAD seeks to recruit a qualified and experienced Project Assistant based in Damasak to support day-to-day project activities under the supervision of the Project Officer.
