About Us

Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD Foundation)

Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD Foundation) is a registered Non-profit organization with the corporate affairs commission (CAC) with CAC No CAC/IT/NO/139393 in 2019 in accordance with the Nigerian Law with office address at Suit B87, Mohammed Goni, Complex, Maiduguri Borno state, Nigeria.

Our organization has grown periodically through our work with other sister organizations in the state providing humanitarian and development response. Today we have an experienced workforce and network of field staff and field researcher and data collectors working in 5 LGAs of MMC, JERE, Konduga, Mafa and Magumeri.

As an organization, our approach is founded on the integration between capacity building of our staff and adherence to strict quality assurance procedure, we continue to learn and consider each of our projects as an opportunity to improve performance over time and raise the standards of our organizations and our donors.

As an agile organization, we believe in partnership and collaboration, as such we are registered with various network of civil society organization like Network of civil society organizations in Borno, Nigeria Network of NGOs, Network of civil society organizations in lake chad regions and Network of ECW Youth led organizations. Base on the fact that our operations is in Borno state, we are a registered organization with the Borno state ministry of sustainable development and humanitarian affairs, state emergency management agency (SEMA), and other government ministries in charge of various humanitarian sectors in the state.

Our Thematic Areas.

EDUCATION.

At FRAD Foundation we promote access to formal and non-formal education opportunities, digital skills training, benefiting youths and
vulnerable populations through targeted intervention by community
engagement and policy influencing. ie provision of school bags, school fees,
sensitization, and advocacy.

PROTECTION.

At FRAD foundation we strive  to strengthen protection services for persons
affected by emergencies including response mechanisms for GBV
survivors, child protection, and mine action. Enhance protection and well-being for
children affected by emergencies, other forms of violation, and exploitation.

NUTRITION AND HEALTH

We ensure quality Nutrition and healthcare services are
accessible to the most vulnerable populations and children thereby
contributing to reduced mortality and morbidity rates among community members. Enhance the quality of early screening, treatment and
referral of malnutrition at all levels. Reduced malnutrition rates and improved health
outcomes, particularly among children and persons with disabilities
(PWDs).

GOVERNMENT AND PEACE BUILDING

We promote social cohesion, peace building, and
conflict resolution of conflict-affected communities through
intergenerational dialogue, capacity building, and advocacy against hate
speech and misinformation. Strengthen capacity of citizens to engage in
peaceful dialogue, advocacy, and conflict resolution, reducing the risk of
violence, instability, and sustainable development.

FUNDRAISING AND RESOURCE MOBILISATION

To Maintain a comprehensive finance policy that ensures effective resource allocation, transparency and accountability in
financial reporting which is essential for building trust with donors and
partners which helps to build long-term sustainability with in FRAD. diversifying funding Source by exploring various
avenues for funding such as grant, corporate sponsorships, individual
donations and fund raising events. This will reduce reliance on a single
source and ensure financial stability.

We promote access to conflict-affected persons,
especially vulnerable women, children, youths, and persons with
disabilities, to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities in IDP camps
and vulnerable communities while ensuring coordination and collaboration
at all levels and phases of the humanitarian WASH/Environment program
cycle.

building partnerships with the development actors and private sector for
long-term sustainable development. Strengthening infrastructures and basic social
services will stimulate economic development by attracting investments
and creating job opportunities among the most vulnerable population.
